Greetings, everyone. As I reflect on three decades in the music industry, I’m filled with both pride and gratitude for a journey that has been anything but ordinary. In this time, I’ve been privileged to work alongside legends, shape timeless music, and persevere through challenges that tested every fiber of my being. Today, I’m thrilled to commemorate this journey with the launch of Iconic Music Group and the release of 21 exclusive instrumental tracks, a collection created for icons like Mariah Carey, Usher, R. Kelly, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Babyface, and many others.
Each of these compositions represents a piece of the legacy I’ve built. This series of releases marks a new era for me, as I present music from my vault and lay the foundation for Iconic Music Group. My journey has seen highs and lows beyond the studio. As many of you know, I’ve faced and overcome severe adversity, including time spent in the Arizona Department of Corrections, where I endured a wrongful conviction. I walked away with my integrity intact and my purpose only strengthened. My music has always been, and will always be, a testament to resilience—a proof of what’s possible when you refuse to be defined by hardship.
In these upcoming releases, you’ll find evidence of that same determination. From notes and chords shaped by challenges, to melodies crafted in moments of strength, these songs reflect my unwavering commitment to my truth and to this industry.
2025 and Beyond: A Deep Dive into Caribbean Sounds
While these first 21 tracks celebrate the past 30 years, 2025 will be dedicated to another passion: honoring my Caribbean roots. I’m diving deeply into the sounds of Soca, Punta Rock, Dancehall, Reggae, and even developing a new Afro-Caribbean fusion that speaks to my heritage and blending it with all I have come to experience. This is music that honors not only my own journey but also the countless influences that have shaped me since childhood.
